Hi everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I had an absolutely perfect day. I have so much to tell you I do not know where to start.

Well I guess I should start with breakfast. Mrs. Claus made me my favorite breakfast of peanut butter toast and chocolate milk. Everyone else had blueberry pancakes.

After breakfast my friend Crystal and I walked to Mrs. Stanton's house to wish her a Merry Christmas. I think we went a little too early in the morning because Mrs. Stanton was still in her bathrobe. She's a nice lady and invited us in for some hot chocolate. She gave us a bunch of cookies to bring home.

Not long after we got home from Mrs. Stanton's house Santa and the Reindeer finally arrived home from delivering presents. Santa said they had a great time last night and wanted me to Thank everyone who left him milk and cookies...Santa said the cookies were delicious.

After waiting all morning we finally opened our presents. You will never believe what Santa and Mrs.Claus gave me...A brand new pair of red shiny skiis!!!! Besides that, guess what Rosie, Santa's sister gave me, ...airplane tickets to go skiing in Colorado! I can't wait to go. To be honest I guess I am a little nervous as I have never been on an airplane before. Luckily Rosie also gave my friends Bobbijean, and Charlie airplane tickets so at least I will not be on the plane all by myself.

My friends got some cool presents also. Bobbijean got a really bright yellow ski outfit (now we can find her in the snow when she falls down - hehe!). Charlie got his video games and Uncle Johnnie received a brand new guitar.

I think everyone liked the presents I made for them. Mrs. Claus loved the scrapbook I made for her about our town. She was so happy with it that she had tears in her eyes as she looked through it. She said it brought back a lot of good memories.

Santa also seemed to like the picture of his house that I painted for him. He already has it hanging over the fireplace. I knitted Santa's sister Rosie a pink sweater and Bobbijean a new yellow scarf which matches her new coat.

After we opened our presents we had a huge lunch...Pot Roast, Ham, Turkey and all kinds of rolls and vegetables. I ate so many mashed potatoes that I didn't even have enough room left in my stomach for dessert.

After lunch some of my friends watched a movie while Bobbijean and I went outside to try my new skiis. Mrs. Claus didn't want us to go skiing on the slopes so we just played with them a little on the hill behind the reindeer barn.

We went in the barn to visit the reindeer and they were all asleep. I guess they were still tired from working all night. They hadn't even opened their presents yet. (Please don't tell the reindeer before they open their presents, but Santa gave them all new harnesses for Christmas).

About 5 o'clock some our neighbors came over for supper. We had a buffet of leftovers from dinner. Mrs. Stanton brought us cheesecake for dessert (yum!).

After supper we had a lot of fun sitting around the fireplace while Uncle Johnnie played his new guitar and we tried to guess what song he was playing.

Everyone went home around 8 o'clock because it was starting to snow really heavy. Mrs. Claus says the weatherman said we are going to get 12-14 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.

I received an email from my friend Stephanie today asking about Santa which I thought might be of some interest to you. Maybe you have the same questions? She wanted to know if Santa ever died? Well I didn't know so I asked Santa and he just laughed and said he will live forever.

Stephanie also wanted to know if Santa can stop time as he travels around the world. Santa says he cannot stop time...he simply travels through many different time zones. I guess when it is daytime on one side of the world it is nighttime on the other.

Oh no! I just peaked out the window and it is still snowing. If we get all the snow the weatherman says, I will not be able to try my new skiis tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that it stops snowing during the night.

Well I better get ready for bed as it is starting to get really late (almost 10 o'clock).

Talk to you later

Hi everyone!

Well its official...Christmas is here! Santa and the reindeer just left the north pole to start delivering your presents. I cannot wait for you to see the great gifts he has for you.

I want to share with you a story that Mrs. Claus read to us last night. I hope you enjoy it.

I Believe in Santa

I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma.

I was just a kid. I remember tearing across town on my bike

to visit her on the day my big sister dropped the bomb:

"There is no Santa Claus," she jeered. "Even dummies know

that!"

My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled

to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me.

I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the

truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed

with one of her "world-famous" cinnamon buns. I knew they

were world-famous, because Grandma said so.

It had to be true.

Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm.

Between bites, I told her everything. She was ready for me.

"No Santa Claus?" She snorted....

"Ridiculous! Don't believe it. That rumor has been going

around for years, and it makes me mad, plain mad!!

Now, put on your coat, and let's go."

"Go? Go where, Grandma?" I asked. I hadn't even finished

my second world-famous cinnamon bun.

"Where" turned out to be Kerby's General Store, the one

store in town that had a little bit of just about everything.

As we walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten

dollars. That was a bundle in those days.

"Take this money," she said, "and buy something for

someone who needs it. I'll wait for you in the car.

"Then she turned and walked out of Kerby's. I was only

eight years old. I'd often gone shopping with my mother,

but never had I shopped for anything all by myself.

The store seemed big and crowded, full of people scrambling

to finish their Christmas shopping. For a few moments I just

stood there, confused, clutching that ten-dollar bill,

wondering what to buy, and who on earth to buy it for.

I thought of everybody I knew: my family, my friends, my

neighbors, the kids at school, and the people who went

to my church.

I was just about thought out, when I suddenly thought of

Bobby Decker. He was a kid with bad breath and messy

hair, and he sat right behind me in Mrs. Pollock's

grade-two class..

Bobby Decker didn't have a coat. I knew that because he

never went out to recess during the winter. His mother

always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he had a

cough, but all we kids knew that Bobby Decker

didn't have a cough; he just didn't have a good coat.

I fingered the ten-dollar bill with growing excitement.

I would buy Bobby Decker a coat!

Hi everyone!

Well its official…Christmas is here!

”There is no Santa Claus,” she jeered. “Even dummies know

that!”

My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled

to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me.

I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the

truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed

with one of her “world-famous” cinnamon buns. I knew they

were world-famous, because Grandma said so.

It had to be true.

Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm.

Between bites, I told her everything. She was ready for me.

”No Santa Claus?” She snorted….

”Ridiculous! Don’t believe it. That rumor has been going

around for years, and it makes me mad, plain mad!!

Now, put on your coat, and let’s go.”

”Go? Go where, Grandma?” I asked. I hadn’t even finished

my second world-famous cinnamon bun.

”Where” turned out to be Kerby’s General Store, the one

store in town that had a little bit of just about everything.

As we walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten

dollars. That was a bundle in those days.

”Take this money,” she said, “and buy something for

”Then she turned and walked out of Kerby’s. I was only

eight years old. I’d often gone shopping with my mother,

but never had I shopped for anything all by myself.

Pollock’s

grade-two class..

Bobby Decker didn’t have a coat. I knew that because he

never went out to recess during the winter. His mother

always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he had a

didn’t have a cough; he just didn’t have a good coat.

I fingered the ten-dollar bill with growing excitement.

I would buy Bobby Decker a coat!

Hi everyone!

How are you doing? I am doing great! We had another busy day today working on Santa's gift list. We are doing an inventory to make sure every name on the list receives a special toy. We worked in the toyshop from 7:30 am until lunchtime.

After lunch my friend Bobbijean, Mrs. Claus, and I went into town to buy some sugar and flour to bake our cookies. We are having a big Christmas Party tomorrw night so we need to bake all kinds of goodies.

Today I baked chocolate chip cookies, and my famous Peanut Butter Cookies. My friends Crystal and Bobbijean made some fudge. Mrs. Claus made the gingerbread men, sugar cookies and the cupcakes. Even Santa worked in the kitchen with us decorating the cookies and cupcakes. Tomorrow we have to bake the pies and donuts. I think we are also going to bake some bread for the sandwiches.

Every year we have a big party the weekend before Christmas. It is always so much fun...the whole town is invited. The Reindeer always take the children for a ride in the sleigh, we sing Christmas carols and stuff ourselves with goodies. I cannot wait!

I have some good news, the reindeer had their final inspection today and everyone passed. I am so proud of Donner as he lost 23 pounds. (Remember all the reindeer used to make fun of him because he was too fat). Oh yea, Rudolph wanted me to tell you that he is ready to go for Christmas eve.

Well I better say goodbye for now. Mrs. Claus is calling me to go down stairs for some warm cider and blue berry muffins.

Talk to you later!

Well I better say goodbye for now. Mrs. Claus is calling me to go down stairs for some warm cider and blue berry muffins.

Hi everyone & my new friend Stephanie!

How are you doing? I am doing great! We have been so busy getting ready for Christmas eve that I haven't had time to write to you lately (Sorry!). I have been helping Santa check his list to make sure he hasn't forgotten anyone. (Note to Stephanie: I found your name on Santa's list....it says that you have been good this year).

We are almost finished wrapping all the presents. I really like to wrap the toys but I have to admit my fingers are starting to get tired from tying the bows. You should see Santa's house, it is stuffed to the ceiling with toys.

Santa let us take the afternoon off so my friends Crystal, Charlie, and I went skiing. We had so much fun. Can you believe I did not even fall down! We only got to ski for two hours as it gets dark early here. It starts to get dark around 4 o'clock.

When we got back from skiing, we helped Mrs. Claus cook supper. We had delicious homemade bread, macaroni and cheese and chocolate pudding (yum!) for dessert.

After supper we all went for a sleigh ride because Santa wanted the Reindeer to get some practice before Christmas eve. Even though it was snowing, we still had a lot of fun. We sang Christmas carols and drank hot chocolate from a thermos. I wish you could see the North Pole from the sky like we can...everything is so magical. It looks like Millions of pretty lights dancing on the snow.

My poor cat Ruby had a scare tonight. She climbed the giant Christmas Tree outside of Santa's house and got stuck. When we returned from our sleigh ride, we heard Ruby crying (meowing) for help. It was really scary because she was way up near the star. Luckily Santa and Ruldoph flew to the top of the tree and saved her. I hope Ruby learned her lesson and will not climb any more christmas Trees.

Well I better say goodbye for now as I have to put on my pajamas before Mrs. Claus calls us for our snack. I think we are having peanut butter crackers (my favorite!)

Talk to you tomorrow!

So Stephanie and all my other friends do not let mean people ruin your happiness. There is really no reason to argue about Santa, as long as you believe in him, it does not matter what other people believe. Some people do not even believe elves are real, but both you and I know the truth. Remember to be happy and listen to your parents.

Hi everyone!

I had another busy day again. I woke up at 6:30am to go for an early skiing lesson. This is the first time I have been skiing in almost 10 days. Last week I couldn't go skiing because of the blizzard and this week we were busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. It felt great to finally be able to get back out on the slopes. I think I am doing pretty good as I only fell down twice today. My ski teacher, Galaxy, says I won't need to take lessons much longer.

After skiing I went to Santa's house for a big breakfast of blueberry pancakes (yum!). After breakfast we loaded all the Christmas Decorations into the sleigh to take to the town hall for the town Christmas decorating party this afternoon.

After delivering the decorations, we went back to Santa's to get the sleigh and the reindeer ready. We polished the sleigh and brushed the reindeer's hair. All the reindeer (except Rudolph) wore shiny new red collars. Since Rudulph is the lead reindeer he wore a shiny green and red collar.

At noontime we all climbed into the sleigh to go to the decorating party. We made a grand entrance into town. Everyone loved Santa and the reindeer....people were standing on the sidewalks and on the common cheering for us. We tossed candy to the children as we passed by. The high school band was even playing christmas carols.

What a wonderful afternoon we all had. We decorated all the trees on the common, the bandstand and all the shops and houses in the center of town. Santa took everyone for a sleigh ride and then let the children sit on his lap to have their pictures taken. Even the reindeer had fun having their pictures taken. You should of seen Rudolph; he loves to be the center of attention. He had everyone dancing and singing; it was so funny.

Mrs. Claus and Santa's sister Rosie served warm cider, and hot chocolate to keep us warm. Mr. Barkley who owns the local bakery served free donuts.

We finished decorating around 5pm. When we turned the lights on the whole town looked like a magical wonderland. I do not think I have ever seen anything so pretty.

After we finished decorating we all went to the town hall for our Spaghetti supper. More people showed up to eat then we expected so we ran out of spaghetti. Luckily, Mrs. Reilly who owns the local grocery store donated more spaghetti so everyone had something to eat. After everyone finished eating it took us almost two hours to clean the hall. We finally got home at around 9pm.

Well I better say goodnight. The last few days have been so busy and tiring that I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Hi everyone!

What a great Thanksgiving day we had. I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I ate so much food yesterday that I was not even hungry at breakfast today.

We had a really busy day yesterday. We all got up a 6 a.m. so we could put the turkey's in the ovens. We cooked 10 turkeys. Then we had to peel and cook a ton of vegetables....potatoes, butternut squash, turnip and broccoli.

Around 10 in the morning our guests started to arrive (with more food!). You should of seen our kitchen; we had so much food we had trouble finding places to put it. None of the food was wasted as we had 67 hungry people for dinner.

We all finally sat down to eat lunch around noon. Everything tasted delicious but my favorite food was the mashed potatoes.

After lunch we all went up to Santa's attic to carry down the Christmas decorations. With so many people carrying the boxes it did not take us too long.

Then a lot of us went outside where the sleigh and the reindeer were waiting to take us into the woods to hunt for our Christmas trees. It took us about an hour to find five perfect trees. We needed five trees for Santa's living room, entry hall, toyshop, library and den.

When we got back to Santa's house with the trees, there were a lot more people. Most of our neighbors came over to help us decorate the trees. Mrs. Claus thinks there was more than 150 people at the house. That probably sounds like a lot of people to you but Santa has a mansion with 28 huge rooms so it did not seem very crowded.

We spent the rest of the day decorating trees, singing Christmas Carols, and eating great food. Everyone went home around 10:30pm.

After everyone left the house looked like a cyclone hit. We were all too tired to clean up the mess last night so we had a lot of cleaning to do this morning. It took us all morning to clean the house.

After lunch I went with Mrs. Claus to the town "Decorating Meeting" to discuss the final plans for tomorrow's party. This is the party where everyone in town gathers to help decorate the entire town. I think I told you about this party several weeks ago - remember we had a bake sale to raise money for the decorations.

We decided the party will begin at noontime tomorrow and hopefully we can turn on all the lights by 6pm. After the lights are turned on we are having a spaghetti supper at the town hall.

We need all the help we can get so if you are anywhere near the North Pole tomorrow please come by. I can guarantee you will have a lot of fun plus Santa will probably take you for a ride in the sleigh. Don't forget we start at noontime!

Well I better say goodnight as it is almost bedtime. Talk to you tomorrow!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't written to you in a few days. We have been having a lot problems up here at the North Pole. Over the weekend we had a giant blizzard. We got 29 inches of snow. You should see the huge snow drifts we have. Then the next day we had a terrible ice storm.

We haven't had any electricity for almost 3-1/2 days. The electricity finally came back on right before supper. Thank goodness; I do not like the dark. Well, we were not completely in the dark because we had tons of candles lit and the fireplaces had fires but it was still kind of spooky.

We have been busy wrapping presents in the toyshop for the last few days. Luckily there is an underground tunnel that connects Santa's house to the toyshop so we didn't have to go outside in the snow to go to work.

Tomorrow my friends Crystal, Bobbijean and I are going to help Mrs. Claus bake pies for Thanksgiving. We have a lot of pies to bake as we are going to have 67 people for Thanksgiving dinner. Mrs Claus always invites the neighbors over for the Holidays.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that Santa's sister Rosie and her husband Donnie are here visiting for the holidays. They are lucky they made it Santa's house safely. They got caught in the blizzard several days ago and had to stop at a hotel because the roads were so slippery. The next day Santa and the reindeer had to go pick them up. The weather was so bad, they did not get home until almost midnight.

Hello everyone!

I had a super busy day today. First thing this morning (7:30 A.M.) I had my skiing lesson. Then I worked on scaning Santa's mail into the computer. I love to work on Santa's mail...everyone sends him such nice letters.

After lunch I went to work in the toyshop. You should see the toyshop, it is packed from floor to ceiling with toys.

Crystal, Bobbijean, Charlie, and I wrapped toys in pretty Christmas paper all afternoon. We had a lot of fun...Mrs. Claus brought us some warm cider and we sang Christmas carols while we worked. It was funny watching Charlie tie the bows on the boxes. No matter how hard he tried, the bows looked silly. So if you receive a Christmas present with a weird looking bow; remember Charlie probably wrapped it.

At around 5:30 Mrs. Claus called us in for supper. After all that work I was starving. We had Macaroni and Cheese with yummy chocolate pudding for dessert.

After supper Darren, the security elf at the toyshop, called Santa to tell him someone had unwrapped some of the toys. We all grabbed our coats and ran to the toyshop. There were about ten unwrapped toys and torn christmas paper all over the floor. At first we did not know who would do such a mean thing, then we saw the dogs, Sparkles and Freddie, hiding in the corner. They both had wrapping paper stuck to their noses. They looked so funny that we all started to laugh.

After we picked up the toyshop we went to Santa's house for popcorn and a game of Scrabble (Mrs. Claus won!).

Well it is getting late so I better say goodnight.

Talk to you tomorrow!
