Santas Workshop ~ Diary of Ashlee ~ the Elf Day 21

Wow! A Letter From Santa

Hello Everyone,

What a great time we had at the Halloween party last night! Even the reindeer came for a while.

I bet you can’t guess who won the costume contest ~ Rudolph. You should of seen him! He was dressed up as Cinderella; he wore a big pink gown with high heels. He even wore a blonde wig with long hair!

The other reindeer were all dressed up as elves. Blitzen was supposed to be dressed up to look like me.  I didn’t think he looked like me but everyone else thought he did.

Robbie, my best friend wore a dracula outfit, I went as a witch on a broomstick, another elf Lizzie was an astronaut. All of us wore funny costumes except Santa. He wouldn’t wear a costume but Mrs Claus made him a Dracula mask.

Mrs. Claus looked great; she was dressed up as a singing cowgirl and carried a guitar. We were really surprised when Mrs. Claus actually started to play the guitar and sing. Nobody knew she knew how to play.

We all stuffed ourselves on chocolate graveyard cake with yummy black and orange frosting. We went through a Halloween Maze in Santa’s barn, swapped a few pieces of candy, and drank large glasses of orange juice. Mrs. Claus even made me my favorite peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Later on we bobbed for apples. It was so funny when Phil the tall elf fell into the tub. Water splattered everywhere, and we all got wet. But we didn’t care as we were laughing so much we didn’t even notice we were wet.

We sang lots of songs. Santa set up a karaoke machine so we took turns singing our favorite songs. You should of heard us; nobody could sing very well. I tried to sing “Redneck Woman” by Gretchen Wilson and the Beatles song “I want to hold your hand”, well I think that’s the name of the song.

The party ended really late. I didn’t go to bed until almost midnight! I cannot remember the last time I stayed up so late. Luckily Santa let us have this morning off  so we could sleep in late today. I didn’t even get up until almost 8am. I usually have to get up at 6am to start work early in the toyshop.

Well I have to get ready for bed and have my snack. I think we are having the Chocolate Ice Cream (Yum!) left over from our party.

Don’t worry, we took lots of pictures so I will be showing them to you as soon as Mrs. Claus has them developed.

Well, that’s all for today!  Be Good Boys and Girls!!  Santas Watching!! Talk to you tomorrow.
