Hello Everyone,

Sorry I don’t have much time to write today ~ we have been  busy in the toyshop all day. Since we worked so hard today we have tomorrow off.

Santa made us eat supper early so we could go to bed early because tomorrow night is our big Halloween party. Mrs. Claus says we can stay up as late as we want tomorrow. I can’t wait! We are going to have so much fun!.

Mrs. Claus got her pictures of the skating party. Did you see my pictures of Santa, my cat Ruby, and the snowman we built - we called him Mr. Frosty. As you can probably tell from my pictures had a great skating party; at least until I fell and hurt my ankle!!

My ankle is starting to feel better, but I still limp a little. My friend, Eddie has been picking on me by calling me Limpy. Since I’m getting better, he won’t be able to call me that much longer.

Well, I have to go now ~ Mrs. Claus is calling me for my bedtime snack ~ I think we are having cereal. Hopefully it is Cheerios, my favorite!

Don’t worry about me if I don’t have time to write to you before our party. I’ll tell you all about it the next day!

Good night

Ashlee  Kiss

Santas Workshop ~ Diary of Ashlee ~the Elf Day 19

Wow! A Letter From Santa

Book a magical phone call from Santa today!

Hello Everyone,

We will be working very hard these next few days so we can attend Santa’s Halloween Party on Saturday night. If we don’t meet our quota, Santa says we will have to stay away from the party and work in the toyshop. Some of the elves are complaining about it, but I’m sure they want to “bob for apples”, eat the Halloween goodies and enjoy Santa’s haunted house.

My Halloween costume is all ready ~ a scary black witch on a yellow broom stick. I couldn’t find a witch’s hat, so Mrs. Claus made one for me. I found a witch’s mask in Santa’s surplus supplies. It really looks great. I can’t wait for Saturday night!! Mrs. Claus always has a spooky party. ~ graveyard cake, graveyard signs everywhere, door curtains made of strings of beads, scary sounding music, skeletons dancing, and monsters prowling throughout the house. I can’t wait to go. And of course  we’ll get some candy along with some fruit (yuck!). Mrs. Claus doesn’t believe in too many sweets for anybody.  And of course,  bobbing for apples is always fun.

Due to my ankle injury I am still painting the little girls tea sets. I cannot stand on my ankle for long periods of time and this task is a sitting down project. Be glad when it’s better and I can do other projects.

The reindeer exercised outdoors in their corral and behaved very well. No Problems today.

Well, guys and gals that’s all the news from the North Pole for today.

Ashlee (the elf) Kiss

Hello Boys and girls!

We had a wonderful time at the skating party ~ until I fell and sprained my ankle. Santa called the doctor who lives next door and he put a bandage on it. So that was the end of my skating, but the fire kept me so warm while I was sitting there. And of course the hot chocolate tasted so good plus the yummy chocolate chip cookies which Mrs. Claus had baked earlier in the afternoon.  We sang lots of songs and Christmas Carols. Santa brought the reindeer to the edge of the rink for a while, but they didn’t behave, so the stable elf put them back into the barn. And guess what?? Santa put on his skates and skated around the rink several times. Took some pictures ???

Due to my ankle injury I had to do a sitting-down job today ~ painted the girls tea sets. Oh,  they are so pretty! I love the pastel colors and the tiny cups with such cute handles. The novice elves were painting the dinner plates, milk pitchers, serving platters, gravy bowls and salt and pepper shakers. I think all the dishes will be done by tomorrow. Then we start on the kitchen appliances ~ stove, refrigerator, sink, microwave and oven, dishwasher and trash compactor.

Well, there’s not much more to tell about today, so will close for now. BE GOOD BOYS AND GIRLS ~ SANTAS WATCHING YOU.

Santas Workshop ~ Diary of Ashlee ~ the elf Day 17

 Wow! A Letter From Santa

Book a magical phone call from Santa today!

Hello Boys and Girls,

This will be a short message as Santa is taking us skating before supper. He was very pleased with all the work that was done in the workshop today. He had the ice skating rink cleared of all the snow this afternoon so we could have a skating party tonight. Oh, what fun that will be! I can’t wait to go! I went through my drawers and found my old, red, heavy socks to wear, so my feet won’t get cold.  Also put new red, laces in my skates, so I’m all ready to go. Santa always builds a fire near the ice so we can warm our hands and feet.  Mrs. Claus brings lots of thermos bottles filled with hot chocolate and sometimes chocolate chip cookies.  Yum,  Yum

The reindeer couldn’t practice outdoors today ~ too cold. Their trainer thought the reindeer were in fair shape and would be ready for Christmas Eve. Two of the reindeer are still on low-fat oat diets and they have lost a few ounces. Santa is also on a diet but he cheats quite often. Mrs. Claus is always yelling at him ~ “Stop Eating!” but he keeps eating until his food is all gone.

Well, girls and boys, I hear the dinner bell ringing so will have to close for today.
