Here is a picture of some of the older elves at work

Hello Everyone,

There was some excitement here today! Santa Claus’s house caught on fire and the fire trucks rushed here to put it out. Their sirens were blasting! Not too much damage, though.  One of the older elves was smoking in the cellar and the cigarette wasn’t put into an ashtray, but thrown into a waste basket. There were papers in the basket and they caught on fire immediately! Luckily, Mrs. Claus was upstairs and smelled the smoke.  She immediately called the fire department. Santa is really going to punish Charlie, the elf for being so careless with a cigarette. So if you smoke, which I hope you don’t!, always use an ashtray ~ not a waste paper basket!!

We were working on doll houses today. Santa put electricity inside each dollhouse. Every room has a cute overhead light, but the doorbell is adorable. It  rings when the outside button is pushed.

The older elves finished working on the blocks ~ there’s letters on all four sides. Good way for you boys and girls to learn the letters of the alphabet.

Some elves started working on the talking telephones. Mrs. Claus was working on clothes for the bride dolls ~ very lacy with some pretty bows and veils for their hair. She does a great job on making little dresses.

The reindeer were good today. No problems, except when the firetrucks scared them with the sirens. The barn elf (Benjamin)stayed with the reindeer to make sure they weren’t too scared.

Well, boys and girls that’s all for today
